Where emergency situations arise during clinic hours, the pet should be brought directly to the clinic and the receptionist informed immediately on arrival so that a vet may assess and treat the problem. Where possible, owners should phone ahead to alert us to the situation so we can prepare for the pets arrival and treatment.

When emergencies occur outside our normal clinic hours our clients can avail of the Dublin Animal Emergency Clinic (DAEC) which is a service shared with other veterinary practices and located at the veterinary teaching hospital in the grounds of the UCD campus at Belfield, Dublin 4. DAEC will have veterinary nurses and veterinary surgeons available to help with the problem or should you be concerned about your pet’s health Tel: (01) 2609920
